Melissa L. Wilson, DDS
Dr. Melissa Wilson is a Houston native. She graduated with honors from Penn State University in 2002, where she also swam competitively and helped lead the team to a Big Ten Championship and national rankings. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (along with numerous graduate awards) from New York University in 2006.Dr. Wilson then completed a one-year intensive residency program at the Veteran’s Hospital in Houston, where she gained valuable experience in complex treatment. This program included a rotation at MD Anderson Cancer Center dealing with oncologic dentistry and working alongside the department of head and neck surgery. She has completed education courses with some of the leading dental experts to gain knowledge on both the function and esthetics of dentistry. Her continued learning includes courses at the Dawson Academy and active memberships in both Spear Education and the Seattle Study Club.
She has been married to her husband Tom for over ten years. They have twin boys in Junior High and a seven year old daughter.
